I called smartfares, and like the other posts, talked to an extremely rude and impatient lady. She told me the problem was that Austrian Airlines did not take Discover. I told her to use AMEX, which she did. However, AMEX billed me for ticket fare and the $111. I have disputed the $111 charge, and received an email from smartfares saying I owe it.
